5 Amazon Prime Originals To Look Forward To
Amazon Prime Video, one of the most popular streaming platforms in India, has been known for creating world class content for the Indian audiences. Whether it’s been shows like Breathe, Mirzapur, Inside Edge or the super successful Made in Heaven, they have made their mark in the Indian web space with content that appeals to a huge range of viewers and cuts across different genres. Recently, they announced their next five Indian shows – some second seasons and some brand new shows and we couldn’t be more excited!

1. BREATHE SEASON 2 
Breathe Season 1 premiered last year and was an overnight success! Starring R Madhavan and Amit Sadh in major roles, Breathe is a thriller that told the story of a father trying to save his dying son. Is there any line he won’t cross to save his son? Breathe explores this question with outstanding performances from the actors. In the sneak peek into Season 2, we see Amit Sadh is still a part of the series and is joined by Abhishek Bachchan this time.

2. INSIDE EDGE SEASON 2
We’ve all heard about match-fixing. Inside Edge gave us a never-seen-before perspective into it. It follows a fictional T20 cricket team through their highs and lows and takes us behind the scenes. Cast members include Vivek Oberoi, Richa Chadda, Angad Bedi and Sidhant Chaturvedi (of Gully Boy fame). What does season 2 have in store for us? 

3. BANDISH BANDITS
One of the new originals announced, Bandish Bandits looks like a visual treat from the get-go. Thematically, it explores a young love story against the backdrop of music in gorgeous Rajasthan. The show is directed by Anand Tiwari who earlier the Netflix original, Love per Square Foot. 

4. THE FAMILY MAN 
What happens when you work for national intelligence and are trying to protect your country from harm but you also have keep your family away from harm’s way? This series explores this conflict with the always impressive Manoj Bajpai playing the lead. 

5. THE FORGOTTEN ARMY
The fifth and final show is the one which has received the most media attention. Firstly, it is directed by blockbuster director Kabir Khan and marks his entry into the digital sphere. Secondly, it is loosely based on true events surrounding the Indian National Army headed by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. 

With the biggest names in Bollywood making their way to the web content space, it is safe to say that this is one of the best times to be a creator and viewer, both.
